I bought this to take on a trip. I wanted a lightweight, cute, comfortable bag that was small, but large enough to hold daily essentials. Mine did not come with a stiff bottom as some reviews stated, so it's pretty flimsy. I use a small cosmetic bag to keep lipstick, medicine, etc from getting lost in the bottom of the bag. The short handles are a little awkward looking since I wear it as a crossbody, but for the price it's a great little bag. The dark denim is VERY dark. If I knew this, I would have ordered the lighter color. I thought the outside pocket had a zipper, but mine did not. A few little tweaks and it would be a terrific bag, but overall it's good.I really like this purse because it's the neutral/khaki/tan color. Goes with most summer clothes. All canvas so it would be washable on gentle, one would think. Hang dry or it would lose its shape.It's cute! When I say cute...it means it isn'tA large purse or satchel. But it holds all of your essentials. I like that the straps are short straps sewn in. Its quaint!!! Darling.Approximately 9" high by 11" long and at least 4" in width. 1 nice size beige canvas pocket inside...(on the side wall of the purse.) One 4 &1/2 X 5 & 1/2" pocket on the outside.
